Sembcorp Salalah Power & Water Company SAOG (SSPWC)
A company in which OSARA is a founding shareholder (with a current 13% stake). SSPWC successfully developed, owns, and operates the Salalah Independent Water and Power Plant (Salalah IWPP). This vital facility boasts a 445-megawatt gas-fired power plant and a 15-million imperial gallons-per-day seawater desalination plant, supplying 80% of the power and 100% of the water requirements for Oman’s Dhofar region.
Sembcorp Salalah O&M Services Co LLC (SSOMC)
A company in which OSARA holds a 30% stake. SSOMC provides operations and maintenance services for the Salalah IWPP under a long-term contract.
SEIL Energy India Limited (SEIL)
A wholly-owned subsidiary of OSARA. Tanweer owns 100% of SEIL Energy India Limited (SEIL), a strategic acquisition completed in January 2023. This acquisition demonstrates OSARA’s commitment to expanding its energy infrastructure portfolio beyond Oman’s borders
Nafath Renewable Energy (Nafath)
A subsidiary of OSARA since 2017, Nafath is a leading Omani renewable energy services company. They specialize in providing integrated solar solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Nafath’s services include design, installation, maintenance, and consultation for solar energy systems. Their work with diverse clients and award-winning projects have significantly contributed to promoting solar adoption in Oman.
